Some important tips:

  • Important to check the Rooms and spaces options in the options box.
  • Important to "fit to page"
  • Important to publish the current view

Challenges:

The plans when imported in FM comes with the information that was associated with the individual spaces in Revit such as space number and description. The area of each space is also calculated and displayed. The facility manager can now go ahead and add additional information about each space such as occupant information, capacity, type, equipment, and so on.

Some of the equipment information did not appear. For example a few kinds of lighting fixture properties(hanging light), doors and windows and some mechanical equipment properties was not carried over.

Go to the facility home page.
